The essentials, from securing your iPhone to reviewing your match.

Record a match

Choose a saved pitch or use the standard pitch, then start recording. Match recording works without an internet connection.

Secure your iPhone

Use a close-fitting running belt or protective pouch so your iPhone cannot move or fall out during the match.

Add a pitch

Mark four corners when you want your heatmap and movement to follow the pitch's real proportions and orientation.

Set up your match

Choose the number of periods and which ones you played. For each played period, set the time, position, and goal you defended.

Ask an AI

Choose a question in your match result, then send privacy-safe match data to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or another app.

Passes

All features are free for your first three complete matches. Choose a monthly, annual, or lifetime pass before recording a fourth new match.

If a result looks inaccurate

  1. Start outdoors where the sky is reasonably open.
  2. Wait briefly for the location status to settle before recording.
  3. Keep your iPhone secure in the same position throughout the match.
  4. Check that Precise Location is enabled for Playprint in iOS Settings.

You do not have to walk all four corners before every match. Add a pitch only when matching the heatmap to its boundary and orientation matters to you.

Delete a match

Open the match in Match History, open its menu, then choose Delete Match. Deleting the app removes the remaining Playprint data from that iPhone. Files you already shared or exported must be removed from the app or folder where you saved them.

Purchases and subscriptions

Manage or cancel monthly and annual subscriptions in your App Store settings. If a purchase is missing, use Restore Purchases in Playprint Settings. You can still view, edit, and share matches you recorded after a pass ends.
